Angie Parks has over 25 years of experience in live entertainment. She has performed as a solo vocalist and pianist for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Premier Cruise Lines, Nordstrom, and various elegant resorts and venues across the United States. Her sensitive piano stylings have been enjoyed by many celebrities and dignitaries, including a Former President and a Grammy Winning Artist. Angies' vocal strength and training have won her leading roles in productions of The Fantasticks, Something's Afoot, Sweet Charity and Annie. She has also served as a vocal coach and assistant director for various theatrical productions, and as a choir developer and music director for several churches. Angie holds two consecutive annual certificates for a High Standard of Excellence In Ministry from Women of Destiny Ministries. She has performed for audiences of over four thousand, and continues her education in the areas of voice and public speaking. Angie presently lives in Palm Bay, Florida. She performed regularly at The Inverness Hotel, Nordstrom, The Willow Ridge Manor, The Brown Palace, The Hyatt Regency, The Westin Tabor Center,and The Adams Mark Hotel while living in Denver Colorado. Spending four years in Miami Beach in the 80's, Angie played every possible Piano Bar venue , including the Miami Hilton, The Key Biscayne Sheraton, "The Toast" near 163rd street, The Marriott in Downtown Miami, The Hotel Sofitel,Club Ovo on South Beach, private events at The Fountainbleu, and various venues in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Boca Raton, Florida. Angie currently performs at The Continental Flambe, as well as various venues on occasion in Downtown Melbourne Beach, Florida. Angie specializes in personalized music for weddings and private events. She also provides Gospel and Contemporary Christian Music as well as Traditional Christian Music for churches, and conferences. Angie has appeared as a speaker as well as a guest vocalist on TBN's "Praise The Lord, Treasure Coast". She has also appeared on Channel 31's "The New Yorker" show. Angie has frequently been featured as a guest and co host on various radio programs. She has also served as a Master Of Ceremonies for special events, and spoken at Rotary Clubs. Angie provides private instruction in the area of Voice, Improv Keyboard and Piano, and Public Speaking. Fees and references available upon request. |
